A letter is a written communication via a
transmitter (sender ) and sent to a receiver (receiver) .
Normally , the name and the recipient's address
listed on the front of the envelope, and the name and return address on the
reverse of the same ( in the case of manuscripts on ) or face ( on preprinted
envelopes).
There are letters with no return address , which is
not listed or noted Sender address the letter, by conscious neglect or default
of the sender.
The letter can be a different text each time ,
because the message is always different . In this sense, only in part can be
considered fully expository text.
Letter styles
The style of the letter should be appropriate and
understandable to the recipient :
• Formal: For formal letter all correspondence
professional , labor, environment ... etc institutional means .
• Colloquial or Informal : If you go to family or
friends and colloquial language used to both understand .
• Family : That could be a derivative of the above
, with the only difference that it is specifically for families.
• Dependable : In this case it shows an even
greater distance to the receiver. Also, when placing whom the letter is
addressed must be placed Sir / Madam ( eg office . Director of the
institution).
It is poor, no examples!
